Fast forward: Trip to the drugstore #2 for a new foundation, preferably liquid or cream, easy to apply and for aging skin. I walk right into Physicians Formula Youthful Wear foundation, available in 3 shades, pale, light and medium......risky, I usually like a med-tan. I decide to try the medium. The package states "Look 10 years younger instantly" and it comes with it's own applicator brush. Designed to melt into the skin and not sit on top or fall into the creases, etc. The old lady on the box is at least my age, and the pictures look convincing enough. I purchase $14.95, falls well below the average price range for age defying foundation.
I also grab the concealer (which is super cool, two types of concealer and a roller applicator) - the price $12.95, seemed high, but it is a two-fer. Because I am a product 'line' girl, meaning I don't mix different lines and expect them to work together perfectly ~ I purchased the finishing powder in medium $13.95, high priced compared to other compact powders of the same size. HOWEVER - This powder is amazing!
The directions state the 1st step is the concealer, I dotted some under my eyes, but decided that applying to imperfections is usually best after foundation application and I was right. The concealer is LIGHT, even in medium. I applied the stick under my eyes and used the cool roller applicator to spread it out - wahhlahhh and perfect application.
I squeezed the foundation onto my skin directly from the tube in dots all over my face, then used the handy brush to move it around and blend it in. I cannot say enough about the way this foundation looks on my face, doesnt settle into fine lines and wrinkles, wears all day and looks beautifully natural. Draw back? LIGHT, even in medium, this shade is LIGHT.
Followed up with the illuminating powder and was immediately impressed with the overall appearance of my skin. The lines that have been bugging me lately, and my eye is drawn to the minute I look in the mirror seemed much much less visible. I loved the outcome.
To counteract the LIGHT shade of medium which is a downfall, as I am naturally a medium shade and so are most of my friends, I purchased Physicians Formula Organic Bronzer and brushed it all over my face a little more on my cheeks, this seemed to help quite a bit to pick the shade up a bit.
I went to a party last night after a full day of working, applied some powder and mascara - the foundation I had applied in the morning held up all day and all night. I am very pleased the overall performance of the foundation line. If you are looking for an affordable anti aging line ~ Try this one.

Finally found it after searching all over Little Rock. Love the foundation and the powder! The only thing I hope is that they will expand their color range. The medium (the darkest I found), is still too light for my skin. I have made it work using a bronzer. Thanks for the product recommendation!
I love the product! I think my little bitty hometown Walmart may have been the 2nd in the country to carry it since I ran right down there after Lisa recommended it and found it!
The medium is perfect for my fair skin, I love the way it lasts all day, looks natural and doesn't settle into any wrinkles that I am still in denial of!
I'm going to look for this the next time I shop. I have started to notice my skin changing lately, and I'm not happy with my current foundations at all. I gave up on Mary Kay and Cover Girl a while ago. I tried the minerals and they just settled into my budding wrinkles. I have a Lancome liquid base that is better than the others, but it still ends up caking on my face. Lately, I've been so frustrated I've just been going without. I have a Physician's Formula concealer set (yellow undercoat, ivory top) that I've used for years that I absolutely love. It's the only one that actually masks my undereye circles and matches my skintone. I barely have any left, and I'm upset that I can't find that particular type any more. But given my love for that product, I think I'm going to give this one a try. Thanks, Diva!
I purchased this product on Lisa's recommendation and have definately noticed an improvement in the appearance of the fine li Ed around my eyes and an overall improvement to the luminosity of my skin. LOVE IT! Thanks for the suggestion, Lisa!

Thanks Diva~! I am looking for a new foundation. I "loved" the Bare Minerals, but it hasn't been a friend of mine lately. I get sooo confused when going to a drugstore with all of the many choices, colors, brands, etc that I usually give up, walk away empty handed. Thanks so much for the tip, and advice. I just found this foundation and am pleased-- I hope there will be more colors soon! Thanks for recommending it. I wore it for the first time yesterday and got told that my skin looked fresh and "amazing." Now that I have an autoimmune disease that makes my skin super dry, I rarely get compliments. To receive that one yesterday made my WEEK!
